Introduction
My name is Tanisha, and this is my final report for the WP Credits program. During the program, I contributed to the WordPress Polyglots team by helping with translations for Costa Rican Spanish. This report explains what I did, what I learned, and what I would like to do next.
I worked with the Polyglots team, which helps translate WordPress into different languages.
My main contribution was suggesting and improving translations for Costa Rican Spanish. I wanted to help make WordPress easier and more natural to understand for people in Costa Rica.

I used the Polyglots Handbook to learn how translations work and how to make contributions.

One challenge was understanding how the translation system worked because it was new to me. I solved this by reading the instructions and trying the process step by step.
Another challenge was choosing translations that sounded natural in Costa Rican Spanish. I took my time to think about the meaning and how people in Costa Rica would normally understand the words.

Personal Reflection and Next Steps
I enjoyed helping with translations because I could use my Spanish skills to contribute to a real project. I was also surprised by how many people from different countries work together to improve WordPress.
After WP Credits, I would like to continue helping with translations when I have the opportunity. I also want to learn more about the WordPress community and find other ways to contribute in the future.
Overall, WP Credits helped me understand how open-source projects work and gave me my first experience as a real contributor.
